Catherine Godfrey-Howell, JCD, obtained her license and doctorate in canon law from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross (Rome), and her undergraduate degree in political philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. In addition to canonical advocacy and teaching as adjunct at the University of Notre Dame, she is a professional translator, researcher, and author of Consensual Incapacity to Marry (St. Augustine’s Press, 2020). She was a member of the collegiate water polo club team. “Katie” lives in South Bend with her husband and four children.
